Welcome to the Tsubamesanjo Bussan Factory Tour！
This guide is self-guided. Each workstation and machine in the factory is assigned a number.

・Due to loud machinery noise in the factory, please increase the volume of the audio guide while using it.
・The factory is a hazardous environment; always follow instructions from our staff.

・Please stay out of restricted or off-limits areas.
・Watch your step; some areas may be slippery or have uneven surfaces.

1. Material Cutting
工場見学の最初にご覧いただくのは、厚みのあるステンレス鋼の板です。燕物産のスプーンは、この高品質なステンレスから生まれます。まずは設計寸法に合わせて切断されるのですが、無駄を出さないよう綿密に配置が計算されています。
切断機が響かせる“カチン”という硬質な音は、適切にカットできている証拠。熟練の職人は、この音や刃の感触でわずかな誤差も感じ取ります。ここから未来のスプーンの原点が始まるのです。
2.Ground Preparation
続いて“地抜き”。ここでは、板から効率よくスプーンの形を打ち抜きます。金型にセットされた板がプレスされる時、鋭い“パチッ”という音とともに、スプーンのシルエットが浮かび上がります。
まだ平たい形ですが、これで確かな輪郭が生まれました。生産効率と金属ロスの削減が工夫されていて、数多くのスプーンを安定して生み出すための要となる工程です。
3.Roll Forming
ローラーで金属を延ばし、スプーンのすくう部分を薄く広げていきます。口に入れたときの心地よさは、ここで決まっていくのです。シャリシャリと擦れる音が聞こえますね。※写真追加する
9.Automatic Polishing
続いて自動研磨。バフと呼ばれる布でスプーンの表面を一気に整えます。シャーッと削る音に耳をすませると、スプーンがツヤを帯び始める瞬間が感じられるでしょう。
10.Hand Polishing & Mirror Finishing
燕の真骨頂、熟練工による磨きの工程。一本一本、鏡のようになるまで磨き上げられます。目の前の製品に自分の顔が映るほどの仕上がりです。
14.Finished Products & Shipping
包装を終えたスプーンは、ついに完成品として出荷の準備が整います。箱に詰められた製品は、全国や世界各地の食卓へと旅立ちます。是非、細部に宿る職人技を感じてみてください。
